Two CA$1,000,000 Maxmillion Prizes Go to Manitoba

During this record-breaking week for the Canadian lottery as the fan-favorite Lotto Max draw-based game offered CA$117 million prizes. The Western Canada Lottery Corporation has just informed that during this week’s Tuesday Lotto Max draw two Maxmillion prizes each CA$1,000,000 have been sold to two lucky Manitoban ticket holders. The first one in Winnipeg and the second one somewhere outside the capital city.

In Canada, Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49 are probably the two most played and desired lottery games. Winners of the games are drawn twice a week, and participants have the opportunity to win life-changing prizes. The games are available for purchase in both retail locations in the province and in an online format.

Two Winners

This week the Lotto Max draw has a total of CA$117,000,000 in prizes up for grabs, with the jackpot hitting the CA$70,000,000 million mark. In addition to that, there were 47 Maxmillion prizes each worth CA$1,000,000. Despite no one claiming the jackpot, two lucky ticket holders from Manitoba were drawn as winners of two Maxmillion prizes in Tuesday’s draw.

In order for players to claim a Maxmillion prize, their ticket must match all seven winning numbers. The first of the tickets was sold in Winnipeg and its winning numbers are 1, 19, 22, 39, 40, 45, and 48. The other ticket holder resides somewhere outside of the capital city and his winning numbers are 1, 12, 30, 36, 41, 45, and 47. The Crown corporation revealed that a total of 23 out of the 47 Maxmillion rewards were won during the Tuesday draw.

Lotto 6/49 Winner

This week has marked another significant lottery win in the country, as the Ontario Lottery Corporation revealed that an Elliot Lake resident is the winner of the CA$4.437 million jackpot but in the Lotto 6/49 game. Arthur Walters will be pleasantly tasked with spending the huge prize as his ticket was drawn as the winning one in the May 22 draw.

The retired entrepreneur explained that he has been playing the game with the same numbers for decades but his win came after using the Quick Pick feature that randomly selects a number combination on the ticket. Mr. Walter said that he has been playing the Lotto 6/49 online on OLG.ca ever since the launch of the platform and now his luck has finally paid off.

Noelville Grand Prize

This has not been the first time that the Lotto Max jackpot has reached its maximum potential of CA$70,000,000. In February, the grand prize has also reached its peak and it was won by a couple that resides in Noelville. Marc and Dorothy-Ann Meilleur saw their life change forever, as the pair won the CA$70 million grand prize, thanks to the Lotto Max draw on February 26, 2021.

Kirkland Lake Winner

Another individual who has also been fortunate enough to win a Lotto Max jackpot was the Grover Adams in April. The Kirkland Lake resident ticket could not believe his own eyes as his ticket said that he had won CA$15 million. His ticket matched all seven numbers in the April 20 draw of the game, thus bringing him the grand prize, and providing him with the opportunity to retire earlier.
