High 5 Games has added yet more depth to its igaming presence in Michigan, after the online casino content producer launched its suite of games with Churchill Downs and WynnBet.
This was made possible by a prior partnership struck with GAN in November 2020, which saw the supplier’s content portfolio be integrated into the firm’s GameStack platform to target New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan at launch, before further roll-outs.
After boasting a presence on the floor of Michigan’s land-based casinos for over 20 years, High 5 Games gained an online casino supplier licence by the Michigan Gaming Control Board in December of last year, as the supplier outlined a vision of working with “every online casino operator” as the region’s market expands.
The MGCB commenced the region’s online gaming and sports betting ecosystems from noon local time on Friday 22 January, with nine operators initially authorised to begin what was lauded as “a new era”.
At launch, High 5 went live with Golden Nugget and BetRivers in Michigan, before a further partnership with PokerStars was struck days later. This marked the first time that the supplier’s games were available via PokerStars in the US.
High 5 first entered the Michigan igaming market with over 20 games, and the company’s product roadmap will see between four and eight titles added to the mix every month, on the web, Android and iOS.
Lauren Gazneli, director of client partner for High 5 Games, commented: “Michigan is an important market for us, and we’re fueled by the incredible response we’ve seen so far.
“Online players across the state have been requesting the games they already love from the land-based world, so we’re inking more partnerships to help put our brand of entertainment in front of more eyes.”
Following its successful Michigan launch, High 5 asserts that it remains committed to expanding its presence across the US, with plans to grow further in New Jersey along with more states as they come online.
